Call for applications for a post-doctoral grant academic year 2014-2015

The City of Marseille support the Unesco Chair Sciences & Technology Education ans Teacher Training (STETTIN) by offering a post-doctorale grant for the academic year 2014-2015.

The UNESCO Chair is based in Aix-Marseille University in the Research Unit EA 4671 ADEF (Learning, Teaching, Assessment, and Training) and the ESPE of Aix-Marseille (School of the Teaching and Education). The STETTIN Chair is a partnership with the University Cheikh Anta Diop (Dakar, Senegal). The Chair's assignments are (1) developing educational research on issues relating to science and technology education and teacher training for primary and secondary education, (2) development of teacher training for primary school and science and technology education for secondary teaching, and (3) development of resources for communication and remote access to resources for education and training.

The candidate will be integrated in the team Gestepro of the Research Unit EA 4671 ADEF. She/he will participate in research related to understanding the processes of teaching and learning in the fields of science and technology education. She/he will conduct research to assess the effectiveness of these processes and the organizations in which they develop.
